@Phil and @Alan premise - background update

I have made new thumbnails and I need your advice/opinion on 3 backgrounds I am thinking on for my premise, train station, toymaker shop and a hospital room.

  1. Hi Laura. A bit better. However, take a look at the train scene from Paddington(2015). In particular the framing and perspective in shots and how the story is told through editing.

  2. Also...in your film the whole story may be told from a low angle because its about you as a child - So the rough height of your character design in most cases. That could be changed when an adult (your mum) is looking down at you. In that case a slight angle downwards. In the Paddington clip take a look at when Mrs Brown is talking to Paddington on her own.

  3. ...If you notice at the start when we first see the train and Paddington is shooing the pigeons its at his height.

  4. Me again...a good exercise is to go through the clip a say (out loud) 'paddington's height' or 'Brown's height'. In the first bit they camera switches back and forth.
