Major - pre eye blink rig Mum character

After talking with Alan on Friday and making the eyes blink, I needed to stop after adding the pose space deformers so I can build the facial expressions and Phoneme (the shaping the mouth to a letter like o or a etc.). Here is the eye blink so far.

Maya - Dynamics Part 2: NParticles Grids

I was testing and understanding how dynamics in Maya work, for this one I needed to make sweeties be tipped out of a box into a funnel that will lead them into a bottle. I used the Maya NParticles tool but set it to balls to make small round sweetie, but I neede to turbulence Field to make the sweeties fall and scatter naturally into the box and add some settings to the funnel so the sweets land onto it more natural. here is what I came up with:

Maya - Dynamics Part 1: Sketching NParticles

I was testing and understanding how dynamics in Maya work, this one was making a cloud using Mayas NParticles tool. The NParticles can create particles based on what a person wants to use them for, like a dissolve effect on an item or sand run down an hourglass. for me, I used it to make a cloud and use the NParticles settings to give the object a fluffy look to it. here is what I came up with:

Much like the upper Pose Space Deformers (Corrective Blend Shapes), the lower focus on making the best details for the characters lower half. This is for the Laura character.

Major - Laura character skinning Adding Pose Space Deformers (Corrective Blend Shapes) Upper Body

Now with the weights blended that make skinning 95% done, but to make it more complete, I needed to make Corrective Blend Shapes to add more details into the bends of the upper part of the body. This is the Laura character.

Major - Fixing the Mum character

After my minor feedback, I got some help to make the character Mum a bit cleaner and look better. This was done by making her feet less blocky and more like feet, changing her top to cover the torso so that skinning and rigging work better, making her legs a bit smaller so that she looks a bit more natural and add in new pose space deformers so she can move naturally.
