 Contextual studies helped me see how influence can help any form of animation  whether it be film or short, I find it very interesting in that when we have to do our essay I will pick a film that will show not only culture  and social impact but also influence  it took from other films/art, I cannot wait to start on this essay and I hope I can get as much help as I can to explore all that I need for doing this  Essay

Contextual studies was very helpful for me going into realism/surrealism how it is making the audience confront weird and disturbing context and how to review a film by do we need want it to be critasim, advertising or a journal type review. Really happy about this.

Contextual studies has given me a early in sight of modernism and how we as a class will read it and understand it, for example what have touched is how German Expressionism in monster and twisted films where it gives of these dark themes & shows with shadows looming on the surface, then on how it is copied and/or tribute in new films in Hollywood. The task is a great help to get me ready to research before a essay.

Contextual studies was interesting in helping me open my eyes to more of what I can do for the invisible cities concepts. For example the angle positions,  dystopia and utopia and how to approach it with more ideas. Can't wait for more
