Contextual studies has given me a early in sight of modernism and how we as a class will read it and understand it, for example what have touched is how German Expressionism in monster and twisted films where it gives of these dark themes & shows with shadows looming on the surface, then on how it is copied and/or tribute in new films in Hollywood. The task is a great help to get me ready to research before a essay.

Toolkit Maya - 2 monster inc university character designs
Maya was awesome today i enjoyed, we had to make background characters for monster in university (pretending theirs a 3 film coming out). We were given cups to pick the number of eyes, legs and arms to use for the character, for myself i got 2 eyes, 4 legs and 2 arms. (had a lot of trouble with trying to make the first photo light and see the drawings so i hope this is ok)

Contextual studies
Contextual studies was interesting in helping me open my eyes to more of what I can do for the invisible cities concepts. For example the angle positions, dystopia and utopia and how to approach it with more ideas. Can't wait for more

Concept Artist 'Who's Who' -Daniel Arriaga
This is a little bit of homework for the invisible cities project. I decided to write about the concept artist Daniel Arriaga to get this project rolling, i thought it would be best to talk about him for he worked on one of my favourite Pixar films Ratatouille. i have talked about the film, how he started, what i think about his work and why i picked him.

blog test
I thought it might be a really good idea if I test out everything I was given in the blog FAQ. So for this I will be testing out Scribd and embedding a video to get use to this for the course.
for the PDF I thought I would upload some old contextual studies
blog-test
and the last is embedding a video
