 Last week in Maya  we had to complete a lesson in poses creating five places for moom  any shape or form,  I decided for the character to be a baseball theme and here are my five poses .

In Maya we were learning about how to pose for an animation by C and s carves as well as finding the gravity centre point to help with posing a character in Maya. After i had to pick a few poses, i was able to pose the pre-made character Moom.

Meaning homework

• high modernism - is a form of modernity, that is characterized by an unfaltering confidence of technology that reorders the social and natural world
•  capitalist - a person who has capital especially invested in the business as well as to influence those into a product e.g u can be an individual with the new iPhone 
• superabundance - this means that there are a super amount/lots of something 
• disconnected - it is a feeling/physical thing that is not apart of anything anymore 
• pop - a Popular culture that can be used for anything 
• fragmentary - different ideas, style etc. that doesn't seem to work together and seen out of place when put together 
•  eclectic nostalgia -  is something that is made up of various sources or styles whilst giving an affectionate feeling of  the past 
  
•  simulacra - a representation of a person or thing 
• superficiality - lack of thoroughness, depth into a character or serious thought into the ideas.
• flippant - not being able to show a serious or respectful attitude.
• depthless - too deep to be measured
• fabulation - to tell invented stories by treating it as a fable 
• pastiche - an artistic work in a style that is of another work, artist, or period.
• bricolage - construction or creation from a diverse range of available things.
• aleatory - it can random and be depending on probabilities 

Kill Bill homework

The film Kill Bill is postmodernism is because:

1. that the film is pastiche for its different conventions and genres
2. that it is fragmented in its film styles by one scene in American action to anime to film noir to Japanese action  
3. that the film at first seems real but as it goes on it seems ridiculous in its reality for example when Uma Thurman it fighting the Japanese character and the amount of death and blood surrounding seems unreal that this would never happen   
4. It’s a nostalgic film for Tarantino takes bits and pieces from cinematic canon and mixes them up. 
5. that the music is disconnected to the scenes and action in the film 

Life drawing Toolkit 2 - 1

In the lesson, Vicky helped me to sort out and explore artist to help with my drawing skills, for in my drawings I would like to get better with lighting and shadows, to put towards further life drawing lessons as well as project artwork e.g concept art, production art and character design. so the 2 artist I will take inspiration from is Caravaggio and RossDraws.

Fantastic voyage - reflective statement

Over this project I have my improvements and downfalls, I have enjoyed everything about this project and had fun creating the superhero comic book idea. I think it fits well, My improvement is getting cleaner at drawing and creating nice artwork to help my idea of this project, I can see a big difference from the start of the year with my work to now where I have slowly begun to explore and create more. Dr Klappa and the others agree that this is good regardless that it is unfinished, however I need to work on criticising myself in whether the video editing is good or bad, if the background needs to look more of my concept art or simple shape, also I need to make my music sound lower and the voice actors higher for it was hard to hear what he was saying in different parts of the previs. The last thing I must improve on is editing on how long the letters in the previs to help the audience see the spelling and understand what is going.

Although I didn't finish my animation due to technical difficulties I am proud of what I was able to do and how I have slowly improved my work over this year, I still have a lot to improve and finish I will Finnish the animation during the holidays.
