My chosen bioscientific scenario and Research

After looking more into the cell cycle and asking advice from a hospice nurse about the subject, I decided to go into the subject of Most cell division results in genetically identical daughter cells AKA mitosis, for I found it exciting learning more about how cells hold our DNA through chromosomes,

The Research

To understand this subject I did a little bit of digging into the medical textbook, online and talking to a hospice nurse in Margate Kent. When bringing up the cell cycle and the 3 bioscientific scenarios, she said that Mitosis is my best bet.

Inside each cell are chromosomes that hold DNA which determines how you look, the colour of your skin and eyes, it also combined DNA from your mother and father to make yourself.

Cell Division is the process in which the parent cells divides into two or more identical daughters cells, Cell division usually occurs as part of a larger cell cycle. In eukaryotes, there are two distinct types of cell division: a vegetative division, whereby each daughter cell is genetically identical to the parent cell. This is called Mitosis.
