Oh the pop art styled cells are cool! I think using that as a design choice is a good idea, it does however mean you need to apply the same style to your environments. 48 is definitely my favourite!
Hey Laura - okay, I've got an idea about your script and it means a bit of a swap about in terms of who is narrating. I've read through it and I just think it's a bit complex really - so, the metaphor of the city, the phone booth, and then the narrator explaining everything, and then the idea that the cell isn't unique. It might be easier if you made your supercell character a bit of an arrogant idiot - a show-off trying to take all the credit for something, so something we see him sort of fly in onto the screen and he says:
"Hi Kids! My name is Mr Ex-Cell-ent and I've got extraordinary powers! Let me show you how amazing I am!"
Okay - and so he goes on talking about Mitosis etc - and then at the end, another cell appears and goes "ahem - but we can all do that - you're nothing special" or something like that - you can still have your big comic book universe, you can still do all of that, but you get straight to the point, and the joke stays the same. The only issue I can see for you is lip-synching, but maybe this is the way forward?
hi Phil i really like that idea and i think it will be great, as for lip syncing i could do it like the example of as a circle that stretches and squashes into lips. thank you so much for your help
